Leave is done..

Yep its all over. Today is my last day of maternity leave. I did go back for one day, but that didn't count, it was a partial day with no students. Any ways,probably won't sleep tonight. Boo.

Cold!

Well since our furnace went out at 2:30 am on Christmas Eve, it has not been too bad in our house. It has been really mild weather, like 40s and 50s even. Last night though it was much colder and you can tell. Really notice it. Tonight its going to be down to around 16 degrees so we will have to pile up the blankets. Clark has stayed at his grandparents the last 3 nights and somehow Charlie has slept all night each night..not sure if its the peace and quiet or coincidence! We are meeting about the furnace later this morning so hopefully it will be installed this week including new duct work! We are so thankful our insurance agent (Scott's mom) added furnace coverage onto our insurance, yippee!!!

Well, I have to say I'm not much for Resolutions, I wouldn't keep them really. So this year I decided to make an accomplishment list. That way if I do something on the list I get to cross it off the list. I am giving myself (and family) a year to do these things:
1. Pay off Scott's truck
2. Pay off windows
3. get/pay off furnace
4. become more fit (go from flab to not as flabby)
5. take a family vacation
6. smart grocery shop for a month 2months 6months 9months
7. go back to some couponing/drug store shopping a month 2months 6months 9months

I will repost this list as I cross things off. I hope I can use this as my strategy to get things done!

Happy New Year! New Blog!

So I decided to start a blog. There's so much going on I wanted a way to post about my daily life. I am stuck, in a house full of boys that is! I should have realized this was destined to happen. When my husband and I moved in together, we got a male dog. Shortly after, and much begging later, we got a cat from the animal shelter. We named it Page only to find out later that she was a boy also. Few months later Page needed a friend so we got Porter. Flash forward years later, 2008 we found out we were having a boy and then almost 3 years later we had our second boy. Don't get me wrong, I love my boys but that is the story of how I ended up in this house of boys!!!
